Hello.

I contacted a player earlier on about the Join Early Bonus, he asked me how do I create a ticket.

So I'm going to post this topic to help players in to creating tickets.
Please follow these easy steps!

Introduction

Creating a ticket in World of Warcraft is actually not complicated at all! There are ways to create a ticket. You must create it ingame. In this guide I'll show you how to ex-actually do that.

How to create a in-game ticket

To create a ticket one simply needs to do the following:

Click on the red “?” on the menu bar
Click on “Open a Ticket” located in the lower left corner of the screen that pops up
In this screen you can start writing your ticket. The screen by default will look like.

After pressing “Submit” the ticket will enter the queue.

After clicking "Submit" a small help frame will pop up (http://bit.ly/ma1ew4) which states that you have submitted a GM ticket, together with a small note icon on the actual red "?" as a symbol of the created ticket. If you right click on it you can “Abandon your ticket” thus removing it from the queue or you can “Edit your ticket” if you want to change it a bit. Do note that editing your ticket does not reset its position in the queue.

Another thing worth noting is that if you provide enough information a GM can usually help you even if you’re offline, so there’s no need to stay online hours after each other simply waiting for a GM.

An example of a ticket concerning a (accidently) deleted character I would make myself would look like this:

Hello!

I’ve deleted a character a while back but now I regret it immensely. Would it be possible to have it restored?

Charname: Andiam
Level: 80
Race/Class: Undead Mage
Realm: Quel’Thalas

Regards,

Allum.

This ticket holds all the information a GM would need to look around for your character, even when you’re offline.

Got your character stuck, here’s what to do!

Fell down a hole whilst corpse running and can’t get out? Managed to find your way between some boxes and now you’re trapped like a rat? Fear not! Getting out is not that hard at all!

If you get stuck somewhere as a ghost, use the new and improved “Return to Graveyard” located at the top of your screen. This function will teleport you back to the graveyard where you where send too after you died so you can start running back .. only this time avoid the getting stuck part!

Now, if you get stuck as a living character in the game it requires a bit more pressing of buttons to get yourself out as much as possible! Easiest way of getting out? Use your Hearthstone ! It will teleport you back to the Inn that you linked it too (Or to your race’s starter zone if you didn’t talk to a Inn keeper).

Is your hearthstone on cooldown? There’s an option for that too! The way to it is as follows:

Click on the red “?” on the menu bar panel
Click on “Character Stuck”
Click on “Teleport to Graveyard”
This will now kill you

Using this, the game will kill your character and thus spawn you at a graveyard. At the graveyard you can use the Spirit Healer to either resurrect on the graveyard with Resurrection Sickness, or you can try to retrieve your corpse whilst trying not to get stuck again.

Help request button on the Micro Menu at the bottom of the window with the default UI.
